Abstract:Zasebne vojaške organizacije so organizacije v rokah zasebnikov, ki skrbijo za svetovanje, urjenje in logistično podporo nacionalnih oboroženih sil. Delujejo tudi pri obveščevalni dejavnosti, v zadnjem času pa tudi pri demilitarizacij območij. Naročniki storitev zasebnih vojaških organizacij so države, mednarodne organizacije, nevladne in humanitarne organizacije, večnacionalne korporacije in posamezniki. Delovanje zasebnih varnostnih organizacij je v Sloveniji dobro znana in uveljavljena praksa. O zasebnih vojaških organizacij pa v širši javnosti še ni prišlo do razprave. Namen diplomskega dela je osvetliti zasebne vojaške organizacije in predstaviti tako mednarodne kot domače pravne vire, ki se navezujejo na novo obliko gospodarske dejavnosti. Delo je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega dela in intervjujev.

Language:EnglishAbstract:Private military companies are ones which are privately owned. They operate in offering advices, giving management and logistic support to national armed forces. They also take part in intelligence service activities and recently also in the demilitarization of zones. The clients of these private military organizations are international organizations non-governmental and humanitarian organizations, multinational corporations and individuals. The operation of private security companies is well known and well recognized in Slovenia. However, the knowledge of private military companies has not yet been publicly debated. The purpose of this thesis is to shed some light on private military companies and present international as well as national legal sources, which form connections with a new form of economic activities. The paper is composed of theoretical work and interviews.Keywords:private military companies, private security organizations, clients, armed forces
