Abstract:Appropriate care for military equipment is one of the most important things in the military life. This is the only way that you can count on your equipment when you will need it and you can be sure that equipment will work. Level of maintain is usually checked and seen on command inspections. In the last few years Slovenian Armed Forces have an issue with damaged and lost military equipment. Due the fact that those cases with lost and damaged equipment are increasing, we expect that Department of Defence will solve that problem with issuing an official document. Document should have incorporated protocol how to pay lost or damaged equipment. It is easy to sum up key dictions from the law and principles and make an official procedure how to systematically solve that problem.
