It is a capability designed both for national defense as well as for action within the Alliance. A compulsory element of a battle group of this size is an artillery fire support unit. In the article we determine whether the artillery systems currently used by the Slovenian Armed Forces are capable of providing fire support in carrying out tasks in the international environment and what is their interoperability with the NATO member states? Keywords:artillery fire support, STANAG 2934, interoperability
