Abstract:Pričujoča zaključna naloga se ukvarja s problematiko merjenja oz. vrednotenja uspešnosti komuniciranja z javnostmi o vlogi Slovenske vojske v sistemu varstva pred naravnimi in drugimi nesrečami, in sicer na primeru helikopterskega reševanja v gorah kot javnosti najbolj poznanem elementu tega sistema. Tako ponuja osnovno teoretično podlago s področja odnosov z javnostmi, komuniciranja ter vrednotenja uspešnosti komuniciranja. Rezultati analize objav v medijih na obravnavano temo v preteklem petletnem obdobju pa pokažejo, da je vloga helikopterskih posadk pri reševanju v gorah in s tem vloga Slovenske vojske v sistemu varstva pred naravnimi in drugimi nesrečami v javnosti prepoznavna in pozitivno sprejeta. Načini, metode in tehnike komuniciranja, ki jih pri tem uporabljamo predstavniki za odnose z javnostmi v SV, zagotavljajo uspešno in učinkovito predstavljanje v javnosti in tako pripomorejo k pozitivni podobi SV v javnosti.

Abstract:The present paper deals with the problem of measuring or evaluating the effectiveness of communication with the public regarding the role of the Slovenian Armed Forces in the system of protection against natural and other disasters. More specifically, the paper deals with the case of helicopter rescue in the mountains as the most well known element of this system in the public. The paper offers a basic theoretical background in the field of public relations, communication and evaluation of its effectiveness. The results of the analysis concerning the publications in the media over the past five years on the discussed subject have shown that the role of helicopter crews in mountain rescue as well as the role of the Slovenian Armed Forces in the system of protection against natural and other disasters are recognized and well accepted in the public. Communication approaches, methods and techniques used by public relations officers in the Slovenian Armed Forces provide an efficient and effective representation in the public and contribute to a positive image of the Slovenian Armed Forces in the public.
