Language: | English | Title: | The impact of human factors on the operations of military commanders through history | Abstract: | The foundation of operational military organization is military leader, capable to balance tactical competences with basic fundamentals of leadership, and consequently achieve objective - unit's victory in combat. Treated area in diploma is related to subject Military leadership and management, emphasising deviations from good leadership. Leadership in close correlation with motivation are indispensable factors to achieve objective. Leadership can also be understood as influencing on subordinates with purpose that subordinates find sense in their contribution at achieving objective in form of values. Subject of present research is phenomenon, named by experts % toxic leadership. This style of leadership is self-destructive and harms organization, because it destroys organizational structures and professional relationships. Experts frequently, particularly in common language, name the leader who conducts this style of leadership, %little Hitler% or %leader from hell%. This phenomenon is inappropriate and creates atmosphere of fear and insecurity. Different methods and measures can be taken in order to at least limit or even prevent worse consequences.
