Abstract:	Za učinkovito obrambo svoje domovine mora današnja vojska uporabljati sodobno opremo. Temu je tako, ker obramba države ne poteka samo znotraj teritorija države, ampak se v današnjem času vrši več tisoč kilometrov stran od matične države, saj je Slovenska vojska med drugim tudi del mednarodne organizacije NATO. Oprema, ki bi načeloma zadostovala na enem geografskem območju, je popolnoma neuporabna na drugem geografskem območju. Prav zato mora sodobna vojska imeti na voljo raznoliko opremo, ki omogoča učinkovito izvajanje bojnih nalog na specifičnih območjih. Slovenski vojak je opremljen s številnimi kosi osebne opreme za nošenje in bojne opreme, s pomočjo katere opravlja zadane naloge. Trendi razvoja so podprti s tehnološko izpopolnjeno opremo, ki učinkoviteje ščiti vojaka, saj uporablja laţje in trše materiale. Tudi uniforma ni več namenjena le zaščiti pred zunanjimi vplivi, postaja namreč del vojaškega oboroţitvenega sistema in opravlja vrsto različnih funkcij. V nalogi se skozi poglavja sprašujem, ali je osebna in skupna oprema slovenske motorizirane čete dovolj modernizirana in, ali omogoča izvajanje bojnih nalog.

Language:	English	Abstract:	In order to efficiently protect one's home country interests, the army needs to be equipped with modern equipment. Nowadays Slovene Armed Forces protect the country not only within national borders but also thousands of kilometres away since they are a part various international organizations, one of them being NATO. Therefore, equipment that would otherwise suffice in one geographical area is completely inappropriate in other geographical areas. Thus modern army equipment must be diverse and meet the requirements of those specific areas in order to efficiently carry out battle missions. A Slovene soldier is equipped with personal equipment, such as clothing, and combat articles that enable them to do their job. Developmental trends are based on refined technology and such equipment serves as better protection since the materials are lighter and harder. The uniform as well not only protects from impacts from surrounding area but has become a part of military weapon system.As such it has various functions. In my paper I will try to find out whether personal and common Slovene motorized troops equipment is sufficiently modernized and enables a proper battle mission.
