Abstract:Odličnost sodobnih vojaških organizacij temelji na homogenih kolektivih, ki imajo enake ideale in so visoko motivirani za dosego poslanstva organizacije.

Title:Pogum - njegovo zaznavanje, razvoj in vrednotenje v Slovenski vojski
Abstract:Excellency of modern military organisations is based on homogenous teams that share common ideals and are highly motivated to achieve a mission of the organisation. Largely because of their traditional frame and basic purpose military organisations are specific environments that take more than just an individual. Contemporary individual who wants to be successfully integrated in to a military organisation and act as a mission oriented member has to transform and put aims of the organisation in front of his own interests, besides that one has to be prepared to sacrifice all for the aims of the organisation. That is unnatural from the individual point of view, so one is not able to transform himself, and organisation has to offer some assistance in that process. This Master work is a Study of value of courage in the Slovenian Armed Forces which implies that value of courage even amongst “less important” values isn’t the most respected one. The most perceived kinds of courage are actually less possible but obvious and extreme, which derive especially from physical sacrifice and risk. Most needed kinds of courage in everyday life, which relate to just socially oriented acts, are perceived even as a negative kind of behaviour. Forming up an environment and conditions in which an individual can substitute his social values with his organisational values demands high levels of professionalism and extreme effort because organisation has to take over the role of »society«.
