Abstract:V zaključni nalogi z naslovom PORS Spike v podpori MOTB sem predstavil delovanje orožja, njegove sestavne dele in predvsem taktično uporabo v motorizirani pehoti.

Language:EnglishAbstract:The paper AAWS Spike in support of MOTB (motorized infantry) introduces the function of the arms, its components and most importantly its use in a motorized infantry. It also introduces the Spike unit in a motorized battalionfollowing the Israeli model and shows solutions for composition of the basic Spike platoon in the Slovenian armed Forces. The procedures and functions of anti-armour weapons, which are similar for weapons of similar usein all NATO armies, are described. The basic point of the writing is the tactical function of anti-armour weapons from movement to the expected contactwith an enemy and maneuver - movement and fire at the enemy. The transport of Spike weapons itself is also stressed, because there are practical problems concerning transport on different vehicles, relating its dimensions and the system itself. The vehicles, already used in the motorized infantry, represent the main problem. Solutions and new strategies of transport are offered by the new Patria vehicle, which is already being introduced into operative use. So the paper about the anti-armour weapon system Spike in support of motorized infantry offers solutions for a quick andresponsive supportive operation of infantry units. It also functions harmoniously with each other in other combat and supportive actions. The difference between the Slovenian and the Israeli way of using this weapon is mostly consequence of different natural terrain and also the tactics of the Slovenian motorized infantry, which are more adjusted to rougher terrain.Keywords:anti-armour activity, anti-armour weapons, arms system, platoon commander, group commander, tank, range, infantry, operation area, destruction area, missile guidance, missile launching, target, reconnaissance, supportive activities, infantry armoured vehicles, helicopter, maneuver, tactical movement, ambush, enemy contact, cover and shelter, fire area, anti-armour system operation, storm, attack, counterattack, artillery, attack, counterattack, artillery
