It introduces a hybrid staff ride model which merges historical studies with the practical demands of modern warfare, effectively bridging the gap between past analyses and present-day relevance. The article offers detailed guidance on planning staff rides, including the integration of war games, to create a unified learning experience. It presents an ideal pedagogical planning model to ensure the learning objectives align with the activities, and offers different models for field studies. These insights advance staff rides as crucial tools in PME, ensuring their continued relevance in preparing leaders for current and future challenges. |
