Abstract:Obveščevalnovarnostna podpora je glavni element pri zaščiti oboroženih sil, ki se zagotavlja tako doma kot tudi v tujini, na mednarodnih operacijah in misijah. Slednja se deli na podporo oz. priprave pred odločitvijo in pred samonapotitvijo enot na mednarodno operacijo in misijo, na podporo med izvajanjem mandata v tujini in podporo po vrnitvi enote nazaj v domovino. V času izvajanja nalog na misiji se obveščevalnovarnostna podpora lahko izvaja vobliki t.i. nacionalnih obveščevalnih celic ali pa po principu "dvojnega klobuka", kjer pripadniki Slovenske vojske in Obveščevalno varnostne službe zagotavljajo obveščevalnovarnostno podporo enotam. Slovenska vojska v mednarodnih operacijah in misijah sodeluje že od leta 1997, na Kosovu pa od leta 2000. V primeru 15. slovenskega kontingenta, ki je svoj mandat na Kosovu opravljal leta 2007, se je obveščevalnovarnostna podpora delila na štiri glavne elemente, ki so s svojim delovanjem zagotavljali zaščito enot Slovenske vojske. Ti elementi so bili: nacionalna obveščevalna celica, skupina za nadzor in povezavo, obveščevalnovarnostni sektor S2 v poveljstvu bataljonske bojne skupine Sokol in sektor J2 v poveljstvu KFOR. Med seboj so učinkovito in koordinirano sodelovali ter s tem oblikovali nove metode v obveščevalnovarnostni podpori Slovenske vojske na mednarodnih operacijah in misijah.

Language:EnglishAbstract:Intelligence and security support is the main factor of force protection at home and abroud in international peace operations. The latter is divided into three phases: support during preparation on peace operation, support during executing peace operation and support when armed forces complete its mandat in peace operation. During implementation of international peace operation, intelligence support can be executed trough national intelligence cell or trough method of "dual hatted", where members of Slovenian armed forces and Intelligence security service assure intelligence support to its forces. Slovenian armed forces takes part in international peace operations since year1997, its presence in Kosovo is shown since year 2000. In case of 15th Slovenian contingent, who fulfilled its mandat in Kosovo in year 2007, the intelligence support was distributed trough four main factors, which provided force protection of Slovenian armed forces. These elements were: national intelligence cell, liaison monitoring team, intelligence sector S2 in Headquarters of batalion battle gropup Sokol and sector J2 in KFOR Headquarters. Their cooperation was effective and coordinated which brougt some new methods in intelligence and security support of Slovenian armed forces in international peace operations.Keywords:intelligence support, force protection, international peace operations, KFOR, batallion battle group
