Language: | English | Abstract: | In Slovenian Army, we put together some legal documents (regulations and pamflets) for safety procedures on ranges. At this moment, we have two main documents, Armed forces regulations and Pamphlet. But those documents are so called live documents. They demand ongoing education, supervising, analizing and in case of need, corrections. For the need of this paper, we focused ourselves on Pamphlet, which is direct, practical tool for safety enforcement. Key point is always human being. But Pamphlet predict, that all members of armed forces training on ranges, are well trained in safety and tactical procedures. Based on that prediction, Pamphlet is focused on ballistic behaviour of projectiles and weapons and physical features after hitting target or terrain. On ballistic side of science there are no huge new discoveries about long time used ammunition. But, there are new projectile behaviours after hitting in target or terrain. And based on that, the Pamphlet needs to be updated in bullets, where it talks about deviations and probabilistic way to decreasing safety danger zones (SDZ). This paper explored if there is a possibilty, wheather SDZ could be smaller as it stands in Pamphlet at the moment and in comparison with that, how is that decreased SDZ related to means needed for blocking entrance in to the SDZ. | Keywords: | pamphlet, safety danger zone, deterministic way, probabilistic way, area of limititations |
