Abstract:Defenzivno in ofenzivno delovanje sta osnovni vrsti bojnega delovanja, ki jih izvaja motorizirana četa. Če omenjena delovanja izvajamo v urbanem prostoru, se njihova težavnost poveča, zahteva pa se večji poudarek pri načrtovanju, pripravi in izvedbi ter pri usposobljenosti moštva. Zaradi specifičnih značilnosti urbanega prostora v katerem se prepletajo prebivalstvo, infrastruktura in zemljišče je potrebno prilagajanje ter zavedanje o prednostih in slabostih delovanja v takšnem prostoru. Poznavanje zmožnosti motorizirane čete v urbanem prostoru je zato eden izmed pomembnih dejavnikov, ki nam omogoča pravilno uporabo enote. Uspeh motorizirane čete v defenzivnem / ofenzivnem delovanjem v urbanem prostoru pa je med drugim pogojen z dobro izvedeno analizo zemljišča, opredelitvijo bojne moči ter razumevanjem učinkov oborožitvenih sistemov.

Abstract:Defensive and offensive operations are the basic types of combat operations performed by a motorized company. When these activities are performed in an urban environment, their difficulty increases while greater emphasis is required in planning, preparation, implementation and in the training of the unit. Due to the specific characteristics of the urban environment in which the population, infrastructure and terrain are intertwined, it is necessary to adapt and be aware of the advantages and disadvantages of operating in such a environment. Knowing the capabilities of a motorized company in an urban environment is therefore one of the important factors that allows us to use the unit properly. The success of a motorized company in defensive / offensive operations in an urban environment is conditioned, among other things, by a well-performed analysis of the terrain, defined combat power and an understanding of the effects of weapons systems.
