Abstract:Mladi so pripravljeni učenja in željni delovanja, vendar obstaja problem mentorstva, oseb, ki bi jih pri njihovih podvigih in delovanju podpirali, jim svetovali ter jih pozitivno in konstruktivno usmerjali pri delovanju v njihovih sredinah in pri njihovem življenjskem in poklicnem usmerjanju. Njihova neizkušenost in s tem posledično strah pred prevzemom odgovornosti, jih zavirajo pri aktivni participaciji in soustvarjanju prostora, v katerem živijo. Kaže se velika potreba po identificiranju, usposabljanju in osveščanjuljudi o pomenu mentorstva, mentorja kot vzornika, svetovalca in podpornika pri delovanju manjših ali večjih organizacijah. V procesu vse življenjskega šolanja, izobraževanja in ostalega izpopolnjevanja tudi Slovenska vojska ni imuna za hiter razvoj in napredek na področju vodenja mladih in neizkušenih delavcev, tako vojakov, podčastnikov kot častnikov. Za kakovostno pripravo na strokovno, avtonomno in odgovorno poklicno ravnanje pa je pomembno tudi uvajalno obdobje oziroma obdobje pripravništva pod vodstvom dobrega mentorja. Mentoriranje in razvoj mentorstva pa bi moralo biti stalno in neprekinjeno.

Language:EnglishAbstract:The young people are willing to learn and act. To accomplish this they need mentors, persons to support them, give them advice and constructively lead them in their midst and in their professional orientation. Being unexperiencedand having fear of responsibility holds them back in their participation in building the environment to live in. There is a need of identification, professional qualification and awareness about the meaning of mentor-ship. One should see mentor as an ideal, consulter an supporter in action in big or small organization. In the process of all-life education and upgrdaning of a person the Slovenian army has to deal with the fast progress on a field of leadership of young, unexperienced soldiers non-commissioned officer and officer. For quality preparation on professional autonomous and responsible action is of great meaning also the period of introduction, a period of probation under a leadership of a good mentor.
