Okupacijske sile so zavzele deželo in vzpostavile svoj upravni aparat.

Language:EnglishAbstract:Sudden break out of the World War II in Slovenia started with a quick defeat of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia's army. The enemy occupied the country and established his administrative exploitative system. In the hostile circumstances armed resistance slowly began to form and first partisan units were established. They started guerrilla fighting against the enemy, using ambush, sabotage and diversion tactics. The enemy responded with ferocious violence over civilian population and large military operations called %hajke% against partisans, which did not fully achieve the desired goal. As the partisan units strengthened, the enemy forces adapted their military tactics in attempt to maintain some sort of balance, even though less and less soldiers were available after 1943 due to the difficult situation on the battlefield. Keywords:ambush, second world war, Slovenia
