Abstract:	Vojaškega poveljnika v prvi vrsti določa njegova osebnost, ki jo lahko razumemo kot skupek številnih značilnosti. Vseh značilnosti posameznik ne razvija sam, temveč so lahko posledica prirojenih lastnosti, naučenih vedenjskih vzorcev in interakcije z okoljem. Čeprav obstajajo navedki nekaterih avtorjev o tem, kakšen naj bi bil uspešen vojaški poveljnik, je vendar težko postaviti splošne definicije osebnosti vojaškega vodje, predvsem zaradi kompleksnosti človeške osebnosti in njene podvrženosti vplivom socialno kulturnega okolja, ki posledično vpliva tudi na vojaško okolje. V diplomskem delu bomo skušali, v povezavi z znanimi opredelitvami vojaškega poveljevanja, razgaliti osebnosti posameznih vojaških poveljnikov in opredeliti človeške dejavnike, ki so vplivali na njihovo odločanje.

In the thesis, the personality of individual military commanders and the human factors, which influenced their decision-making, accompanied by well-known definitions of military commandment are presented.
