Jezik: | Angleški jezik | Opis: | The final thesis deals with the concept of Host Nation Support, which is relevant for the Slovenian Armed Forces and the Republic of Slovenia in the fulfilment of NATO obligations. Host Nation Support is defined as civilian and military assistance provided by the Republic of Slovenia to allied forces in various situations - peacetime, emergency, crisis and war on its territory, in territorial waters or in its airspace.The concept of Host Nation Support is defined as civilian and military assistance provided by the Republic of Slovenia to allied forces in various situations - peacetime, emergency, crisis and war on its territory, in its territory, in its territorial waters or in its airspace.The final thesis deals with the concept of Host Nation Support. This support enables the reception, retention and passage of forces and assets of allied or other countries and includes both military and civilian capabilities. The need for NATO Member States to be resilient, including the ability to make adequate preparations and to respond to various shocks such as natural disasters, complex crises or armed conflicts, in accordance with Article 3 of the North Atlantic Treaty, is also underlined. The Republic of Slovenia, as a NATO member, plays an important role as a transit country, and the provision of host nation support includes the reception and protection of forces, logistical support and movements across the territory of the Republic of Slovenia.
