This article looks at the war in Ukraine as a means to identify the interests of Russia, the United States and the European Union. Since the outcome of the war will also be geopolitics, the article also addresses this aspect.

Abstract:	Geopolitika, ki obravnava interese posameznih državnih akterjev, je imela v mednarodnih zadevah vedno pomembno vlogo. Članek obravnava vojno v Ukrajini kot sredstvo za prepoznavanje interesov Rusije, Združenih držav Amerike in Evropske unije. Geopolitika se nanaša tudi na izid vojne, zato članek obravnava tudi ta vidik.
