Abstract:Namen prispevka je predstaviti ključne vsebinske sklope oziroma tematike, potrebne za teoretično razumevanje raziskovanja, ter praktični pristop k izvedbi raziskave, in tako pri bralcih, zlasti nosilcih in izvajalcih vojaških izobraževalnih programov v Slovenski vojski, vzbuditi raziskovalno zanimanje. Vsebinski sklopi oziroma tematike so v celoti uporabne in ključne za razumevanje raziskovanja v vojaški veščini, znanosti, vojaških vedah, precej pa tudi v drugih, nevojaških, raziskovalnih vedah, področjih in podpodročjih. Poudarek je na metodah in uporabi združenega raziskovanja, saj je bilo ugotovljeno, da združeni rezultati raziskav, zbrani s kvalitativnimi in kvantitativnimi metodami, dajejo celovitejše odgovore na vprašanja glede določenih raziskovalnih problemov.

Language:EnglishTitle:Methodology of research in the context of military skills, science and disciplinesAbstract:The aim of this paper is to present the key themes or topics required for a theoretical understanding of research and a practical approach to conducting one’s own research, thus arousing research interest in the reader, and in particular in the holders and providers of military education programmes in the Slovenian Armed Forces. The themes or topics are fully applicable and crucial to the understanding of research in the context of military skills, science and disciplines, and to a great extent also in other non-military research disciplines, fields and subfields. The emphasis lies on methodology and the use of merged research, for it has been established that merged research results collected through qualitative and quantitative methods give more comprehensive answers to questions referring to a specific research problem.Keywords:science, military education, methodology, qualitative research, quantitative research, mixed methods
