Title:Uporaba brezpilotnih letal v Slovenski vojski : diplomsko delo višješolskega študijskega programa

Abstract:V diplomski nalogi so predstavljene lastnosti uporabe izvidniških brezpilotnih letal kot pomembnega in potrebnega dejavnika pri uspešnem izvajanju nalog na mednarodnih operacijah in misijah, na katerih sodelujejo pripadniki SV. V nadaljevanju naloge se ugotavljajo potrebe po izvidniških brezpilotnih letalih na nalogah bataljonske bojne skupine doma za obrambo Republike Slovenije in v tujini. V analizi bataljonske bojne skupine z in brez brezpilotnih letal je dokazano, da je uporaba brezpilotnih letal bistveno prispeva k zaščiti lastnih vojakov na vseh svetovnih vojskovališčih. V zaključku je na podlagi raziskave potreb BBSK in potrebnih lastnosti BPL podan moj predlog nakupa tujega brezpilotnega letala. Diplomsko delo lahko vzamemo kot prispevek k poglobljenemu razmišljanju stroke in laičnega bralstva o potrebi po racionalnem in cenovno ugodnem opremljanju Slovenske vojske z BPL.

Abstract:This thesis presents the characteristics of unmanned reconnaissance aircraft, which are an important and necessary factor in the successful implementation of tasks in international operations and missions the Slovenian Armed Forces members participate in. The thesis also identifies the needs for reconnaissance aircraft in battalion sized battle group missions conducted both in this country for the purpose of defending the Republic of Slovenia and abroad. The analysis of the battalion sized battle groups employing unmanned aircraft and those operating without UAVs shows that the use of unmanned aircraft has contributed substantially to the protection of own troops in all theaters worldwide. Based on the research of the battalion sized battle group needs and the required UAV features, this thesis concludes with a proposal for the purchase of a foreign Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. This thesis may influence both the experts in the field and lay persons when considering the need for rational and cost effective purchase of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for the Slovenian Armed Forces.
