Abstract: Geopolitics, addressing the interests of particular state actors, has always played a role in international affairs. This article looks at the war in Ukraine as a means to identify the interests of Russia, the United States and the European Union. Since the outcome of the war will also be geopolitics, the article also addresses this aspect.
