Abstract:Not long ago the forefront of the military service was the struggle for its own well-being and existence. After the successful cooperation between members and the organization the institutional support to his family or partner could be traced. In recent years, in the time of the professionalism, the military institution has realized that its operation will be done smoothly and more successfully if their members happy. For this they have to have their family relations arranged. The family as the basic unit of society is an important factor in human life. It means shelter, warmth, happiness, comfort, and ultimately safety for the individual. In Slovenia we have professional armed forces so it is necessary to develop relations in the Slovenian Armed Forces. Especially the relationship between the organization and the families of military members are given special care. The army operates as a system on simple principle of management and command or command and enforcement orders. In such a principled organization it is hard to imagine a place for welfare. The purpose of the thesis is to examine the problems which soldiers face after the mission and when they integrate back into the old life, and also problems which their partners are facing. Research has shown that families often find themselves in a period of difficult situations and they need help. We found organized social assistance within the barracks would be very welcome.
