Abstract:	Boj v urbanem okolju je v sodobnem vojskovanju neizogiben. Razumevanje urbanega okolja in zavedanje so temelji za urjenje in organiziranje sil za delovanje. Boj v srečanju kot oblika prehodnega delovanja, zaradi svoji značilnosti zahteva posebno pozornost kadar gre za delovanje v urbanem okolju. Boj v srečanju v urbanem okolju namreč vključuje cel spekter postopkov, znanj in veščin iz ofenzivnega, defenzivnega ter drugih oblik delovanj v urbanem okolju. Gre namreč za kompleksno situacijo, pri kateri ima ključno vlogo izurjenost, tehnika in standardni postopki posameznikov, skupin, enot in načrtovanje poveljstva. Nezanemarljiv faktor pri tem predstavljajo bojna in ne bojna sredstva ter oborožitev enot.
