Abstract:Slovenija je 25. junija 1991 razglasila neodvisnost in samostojnost. Na mejnih prehodih so potekali prevzemi nalog. Postavljene so bile mejne kontrolne točke na meji s Hrvaško. Zvezna vlada Socialistične federativne republike Jugoslavije je hotela to dejanje preprečiti, zato je Jugoslovanski ljudski armadi ukazala, naj zavzame mejne prehode v Republiki Sloveniji, če je treba tudi s silo. Prišlo je do spopadov, ki so se odvijali na celotni slovenski meji. Sloveniji je z enotnostjo in odločnim nastopom proti napadalcuuspelo ohraniti lastno državo.

Language:EnglishAbstract:On the 25th of June, 1991, Slovenia declared its independence and sovereignty.Tasks were taken over at border crossings and border control points were set up on the border with Croatia. The federal government of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia wanted to prevent these actions and ordered the Yugoslav People's Army to take over the border crossings in the Republic of Slovenia; if necessary by force. Military conflicts took place along the entire Slovenian border.
