Abstract:	Slovenija je 25. junija 1991 razglasila neodvisnost in samostojnost. Na mejnih prehodih so potekali prevzemi nalog. Postavljene so bile mejne kontrolne točke na meji s Hrvaško. Zvezna vlada Socialistične federativne republike Jugoslavije je hotela to dejanje preprečiti, zato je Jugoslovanski ljudski armadi ukazala, naj zavzame mejne prehode v Republiki Sloveniji, če je treba tudi s silo. Prišlo je do spopadov, ki so se odvijali na celotni slovenski meji. Sloveniji je z enotnostjo in odločnim nastopom proti napadalcuuspelo ohraniti lastno državo.
