Abstract:	S koncem hladne vojne, uvedbo novih tehnologij in spremembami v varnostnem okolju, se v svetu začne proces transformacij oboroženih sil. Proces transformacije oboroženih sil zaradi različnih vzrokov poteka neenakomerno, zato nastaja tako imenovana transformacijska vrzel. Slovenska vojska je v procesu transformacije šla skozi dve uspešni fazi, zaradi gospodarske krize in zmanjšanih virov pa se je upočasnila. Z alternativno vizijo razvoja lahko Slovenska vojska zmanjša vpliv gospodarske krize in zmanjšanih virov.

Abstract:

With the end of cold war, introduction of new technologies and changes in security environment initiated process of the armed forces transformation. Because of several reasons process of armed forces transformation was not evenly and these was transformation gap. Slovenian Army had during transformation two successful phases, but economic crisis slowed down the process. With alternative vision of Slovenian army development can reduce effect of economic crisis.
