Abstract:	Članek obravnava strateško kulturo ter vedenje ZDA v rusko-ukrajinskem konfliktu med februarjem 2014 in septembrom 2024. Identificirani in preučeni so tradicionalni elementi ameriške strateške kulture: ideja o ameriški izvzetosti (izjemnosti), liberalna filozofska tradicija, internacionalistična zunanja politika, vloga Nata in strategija posrednega nastopanja, vloga javnega mnenja in vpliv protestantske etike ter tehnološki fetišizem. Tradicionalni elementi ameriške strateške kulture se odražajo na vedenju ZDA v rusko-ukrajinskem konfliktu ter ga tako pojasnjujejo. Vedenje ZDA v rusko-ukrajinskem konfliktu potrjuje vzorec kontinuitete znotraj ameriške strateške kulture.
