Splošna deklaracija človekovih pravic OZN, z resolucijo št. 217 A (III), govori o prirojenem dostojanstvu, svobodi, enakosti in pravičnosti za vsakogar (OZN, Resolucija 217 a(III)).

Abstract:The society reflects the dignity as value of human being and as an equivalence between human beings, for which it set up legal frameworks, regulations and declarations defined human rights. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the UN Resolution. 217 A (III) speaks of innate dignity, freedom, equality and justice for everyone. The principle of gender equality in various international documents defined as a fundamental principle that was bound to abide by all Member States and international intergovernmental organizations such as the European Union, the United Nations and the Council of Europe. Emphasis on gender equality should not be seen as sameness or similarity between women and men, but as the acceptance of differences and diversity between women and men and equal valuation of these differences and the different social roles. Gender equality policy is also committed to a genuine partnership between men and women and the division of responsibilities in addressing imbalances in public and private life. The main principle is so equal visibility, equal status of women and men in society and equal enjoyment of the results of social development. Purpose of this thesis is to verify the dignity protection level of the employees and respect of principle for equal opportunities between women and men. The results of the analysis show an appropriate level of respect for these principles.
