Abstract:V zaključni nalogi smo opredelili osnovne pojme in standarde, ki zadevajo digitalizacijo oboroženih sil. Na kratko smo opisali orodja, ki se uporabljajo v Slovenski vojski in navedli primere uporabe, kjer se je digitalizacija pokazala kot dodana vrednost. Za lažje ovrednotenje učinkov digitalizacije smo opisali dva primera operacij vojske ZDA, ki je vodilna na tem področju. Na koncu smo s kritično analizo podali prednosti in slabosti ter nevarnosti digitalizacije. Za zaključek smo navedli nekaj konkretnih ukrepov, s pomočjo katerih bi lahko v Slovenski vojski dvignili nivo tehnične kulture in tako v večjem obsegu kot do sedaj izkoriščali prednosti digitalizacije oboroženih sil.

Abstract:In the following thesis we have defined basic concepts and standards concerning the digitalization of armed forces. We briefly described the tools used in the Slovenian Armed Forces and provided examples of applications where digitalization has proved to be an added value. In order to facilitate the evaluation of the effects of digitalization, we have described two examples of US military operations which is a leader in this field. In the end, we analyzed the advantages, disadvantages and risks of digitalization with a critical analysis. To conclude, we have listed some concrete measures that could help the Slovenian Armed Forces to raise the level of technical culture and increase the impact of digitalization on the performance of the basic military tasks.
